This week we say goodbye to our long-standing SPO @Sheila_Nagy1 as she retires. Tears and sadness on our managers meeting but reflections on the memories that have been made. A true leader and a huge loss the the NPS. 🥲

SORT facilitators were interviewed this week by HMIP as part of the thematic inspection into nerodiversity in the CJS. The inspectors commended them on their professionalism and commitment in doing a very difficult job. It felt powerful feedback and a real boost to staff morale!

Polygraph tests have been used since 2014 as a licence condition for those convicted of certain sexual offences under supervision.

Monitoring will be extended to terrorist offenders as part of the upcoming Counter-Terrorism & Sentencing Bill.

Usual SORT SPO meeting this morning. So many of the team at home with their children juggling work and home schooling. This will be replicated across the NPS- the commitment of staff to supporting the organisation is simply outstanding. #HiddenHeroes

Face to face delivery of SORT programmes is now suspended. We will be in touch with service users and their OMs in the coming days- for most men delivery will now be remote. An all staff update will be circulated once we have firmed up plans re. support during this time #BusyDay
