Merz: "Ukraine has been defending its freedom for more than 4 years."
(AfD members laughing)
Merz: "Thatโs telling sign, ladies and gentlemen. They laugh about it, they laugh about fate of millions of people in Ukraine and they travel to Moscow for their champagne receptions."
๐ข if you are coming to Ukraine PLEASE bring a Starlink Mini, used or new, all we need is the dish and power cable, no power brick or stand needed, roughly the size of A4 paper and as thick as a deck of cards it can fit in hand luggage.
PLEASE, it's urgent, and desperate โ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธ
Lieu: The president is not well. He has tremendous difficulty staying awake on the job. He has repeatedly fallen asleep at Cabinet meetings, at White House events, at a Memorial Day ceremony, and most recently at a very loud NBA game last night.
The White House needs to explain why Donald Trump keeps going to the hospital and taking cognitive tests.
โ๏ธ The moment of today's "shahed" strike on a residential building in Chornomorsk near Odesa
๐คฌ This morning, Russia also attacked residential buildings in Konotop. A search and rescue operation is underway in a five-story building. There may be people under the rubble.
Dear @DAGToddBlanche: You donโt get to decide to โmove onโ from the Epstein Files or from following the congressional law. That decision can only be made by the American people and Congress.
You will be disbarred. The files will eventually be released.
November is coming.
๐จ๐บ๐ฆ Russia attacked with UAVs at the site of the Centralized Spent Nuclear Fuel Storage Facility, โ Energoatom.
The radiation situation is currently normal. The building is partially destroyed, no spent nuclear fuel was stored there, so there is no radiation leak.
๐กโ๏ธ Putin's entourage continues to fly business jets despite sanctions - WSJ
Bombardier Global 7500 business jet, which was built in the West, costs about $75 million and usually serves the world's business elite, is based at Moscow's Vnukovo airport.
However, this and other luxury business jets continue to be used by people close to the Russian president.
Among them are Sergey Chemezov, Putin's longtime associate Arkady Rotenberg and oligarch Igor Kesayev, who is associated with the defense and tobacco industries.
The WSJ noted that the planes are purchased on the secondary market, then registered in jurisdictions that have not joined the sanctions.
โ๏ธโ๏ธ Update: Russia attacked two civilian search and rescue vessels, which were carrying out a humanitarian mission within the Ukrainian sea corridor.
Unfortunately, there are casualties among the civilian personnel.
โ๏ธโ๏ธThere are injured: Russia attacked rescue vessels during a humanitarian mission in the Black Sea, โ Kuleba
Russian troops struck two boats of the Maritime Search and Rescue Service, which were carrying out a humanitarian mission within the Ukrainian sea corridor.
There are injured as a result of the attack. Their evacuation by boats of the Ukrainian Navy is currently underway.
HORROR in Kherson ๐ก! A civilian (35y old woman)was killed and over 20 others were wounded following a russian terrorist attack on the city ๐ก! A gas station, apartment buildings, cars, a shop, buses, a school were damaged or completely destroyed ๐ก! @IntlCrimCourt
โผ๏ธBACON: Russia is bombing Ukrainian cities every night with ballistic missiles and hypersonic missiles, and we better be there to help them, or in the history books it's gonna say, "United States failed when it's most needed."
โAre we gonna stand with good, or are we gonna stand with evil? That's what this is about tonight. Ukraine is a democracy, it's a free market, it's rule of law. It's been invaded by a dictator who throws his enemies off of roofs, poisons his adversaries, and he attacked his neighbor that's four times smaller than Russia. What's the goal? To eliminate their independence, to eliminate them as a culture, as a people, 'cause he wants to control those old borders of his that he has had. We gotta stand for the good side tonight. What does this bill do? It provides $1.3 billion in direct military aid, and $8 billion in military sales, and provides tough sanctions on Russia. We should have done this a year ago. We could have done this in a bipartisan way year ago, but we have not. This decision is needed now. Russia is bombing Ukrainian cities every night with ballistic missiles and hypersonic missiles, and we better be there to help them, or in the history books it's gonna say, "United States failed when it's most needed." And I know this, I want this House to stand on the right side. I want Republicans to stand where Ronald Reagan would be if he was here right now. Ronald Reagan would be voting yes tonight. He'd be standing up for Ukraine and opposing Russia. This is our Churchill moment or our Chamberlain moment, and by God, I'm gonna choose Churchill, and this House better choose Churchill tonight. With that, I yieldโ - @RepDonBacon on Thursday, June 4th, 2026
