Our team had the honor of interviewing Rt. Hon. Francis Butagira, a man whose life is deeply interwoven with Uganda’s history. He served as Speaker of Parliament in the Obote II Government, was Member of Parliament for Rwampala,

later became Uganda’s Ambassador to the Vatican and Germany, and was part of the National Consultative Council (1979–1980).

He shared with us his rich history which will be featured in our Independence Day Documentary, premiering this Independence Day.
