NRED’s 2026 Wilmac field program is officially underway! $NRED

Field crews are mobilizing this week to expand soil sampling across Lamont Ridge, collect rock samples and investigate two extensive iron carbonate-silica alteration zones on the Plume grid and east of Lamont.

NRED has spent months refining its geological model. The next step is getting back into the field to test those targets directly and generate new data for future exploration and drilling.

New data is helping $NRED see through the geological cover at Wilmac. A review of 926 soil samples alongside 40 kHz airborne resistivity identified a broad conductive zone and a more resistive basement domain, with REG soils showing a 383 ohm-metre median.

Why it matters: identifying where prospective rocks are exposed or buried helps NRED refine exploration targets and decide where follow-up work should be concentrated.

1.670% Cu. 6,390 ppm average. Stronger targets beyond it.

Our latest Wilmac analysis shows nine selective trench samples averaging 6,390 ppm copper, including individual values of 1.235% and 1.670% Cu. The key finding: these copper-bearing samples sit along the edge of a much broader IP chargeability system, rather than directly over its strongest response.

NRED has now identified multiple stronger, untested targets 100 to 300 metres west and southwest. WM-P2 is supported by strong IP and potassium enrichment, while WM-P3, roughly 1.4 km southwest, adds shallow chargeability, conductivity and alteration signals

NRED has completed a property-wide geological re-evaluation of Wilmac, identifying 23 potassium-enrichment anomalies and 18 candidate structural corridors across the 16,078-hectare project.

By combining airborne geophysics, geochemistry, mapping and historical drilling, NRED is narrowing the search toward areas where multiple independent datasets overlap, creating a more targeted framework for future exploration and drilling.

NovaRed Mining reports expanded 3DIP and AMT evaluation at Lamont Ridge, Wilmac, identifying a buried resistive body with a median top depth of 293 metres, or approx. 961 feet, consistent with an interpreted intrusive complex. $NRED $NREDF

The Company also defined a 42-hectare, or approx. 104-acre, chargeability target exceeding 25 ms at 300 metres, or approx. 984 feet, depth. The target remains open to the north, with shallower chargeable bodies extending approx. 1.5 to 2 km, or 0.9 to 1.2 miles

NovaRed Mining reports that 2023 to 2026 work has significantly strengthened the Wilmac copper-gold model, with trench results up to 1.67% copper and 0.433 g/t gold, porphyry-style alteration, AB-type veining, and mineralized stockwork. $NRED

The updated interpretation points to multiple potential porphyry systems associated with a large intrusive complex at depth, including two interpreted parent magmas and targets approx. 200 to 550 metres below surface. Wilmac is a 16,078-hectare project located approx. 10 km west of Hudbay’s producing Copper Mountain Mine.

NovaRed Mining reports a new Wilmac interpretation using surface geology, property-wide magnetic data, and 2024 3DIP/AMT results from Lamont.

The model suggests an interpreted 18 km regional magnetic anomaly covering at least 188 km², with approx. 46 km² captured by Wilmac. Copper-in-soil values up to 1,125 ppm and pipe-like geophysical features support the Company’s focus on multiple potential copper-gold porphyry targets across its 16,078-hectare project.
