A group of our Year 9 students are taking part in #CyberFirst Investigators today, role-playing as cyber security experts working for fictional app company, Sirius Cyberworks, to uncover how a data leak happened using forensics, steganography and open source intelligence.

Almost time for a lunch break in Round 1 of CyberCenturion IX! @RGSNewcastle students from Year 7 to Year 13 are competing in this cyber defence competition from the Air Force Association and presented by @northropgrumman today against 148 teams from across the country!

Diamond Dogs: David Bowie co-wrote a program to give him lyric ideas. Based on the ‘cut-up’ technique / algorithm it created strange combinations of ideas by combining halves of sentences from different places. He built whole songs around the ideas. See:
