On Dec. 1, Brian Ferris suffered a life-altering spinal cord injury that left him with minimal movement of his arms and legs.
“I could have died on that floor that night,” Ferris said.
Less than six months later, Ferris can walk without assistance. His life will never be the same, but his relentless work ethic has allowed him to make significant strides.
Next up for the longtime referee, coach and teacher? A return to the field, court and classroom.
“I’m going to get back on that field,” Ferris said. “I don’t know if it’s going to take six months. I don’t know if it’s going to take a year or two years. I’m going to fight the fight every day until I get back out there.” https://t.co/WSzzXwqVnq @GlobeSchools@BR_Athletics_MA@BRgirlshoops@BRRSD_@bsubears@Bsumbb@MIAA033@WalpolehighADSM
