Good to see the Sheshnaag-150 swarming attack drone tested in Pokhran today. Final seconds captured here. Obviously no warhead, if you're wondering about explosion. Was launched out to a 700 km range (max: 1,000 km).
Congratulations, @NS_FutureReady & @joe_sameer!
NRT’s Sheshnaag-150 tested at the Pokhran test range. 🇮🇳
Details of the test:
>Distance covered: 720km
>Accuracy: CEP <10m
>Warhead: 25 kg HE
India might induct thousands of these for SEAD & other roles including long range precision strikes on high value enemy assets.
We were honored to host General Upendra Dwivedi, PVSM, AVSM, Chief of the Army Staff, (COAS) at our Centre of Excellence to showcase the next generation capabilities that we have built, from the blueprint.
NewSpace has dedicated a decade of persistent R&D, and we strongly believe that to serve the nation reliably, the underlying scientific foundation must be ironclad. Our team took General Dwivedi through this journey—from stabilizing core technologies to deploying the next generation of mission-critical systems.
A key highlight was discussing our ongoing work with the Indian Army on Swarm robotics, the Medium Altitude Persistent Surveillance System (MAPSS) and our Unmanned Ground Vehicle portfolio.
As the Indian Army continues to enhance its operational preparedness, we deeply value the General’s time and his focus on how advanced, home-grown systems can redefine the modern battlefield. We remain steadfast in our role as partners in India’s journey toward becoming a global leader in sovereign defense capabilities.

It was a privilege to welcome Vice Admiral Sanjay Vatsayan, AVSM, NM, Vice Chief of Naval Staff (VCNS) and his team to our Centre of Excellence at NewSpace.
From the inception, NewSpace had a steady focus on R&D, to ensure that technological foundations were unshakeable before scaling to the complex systems we see today. This "fundamentals-first" approach is what allows us to transition seamlessly from lab-scale breakthroughs to mission-ready platforms.
During the visit, we had the honor of demonstrating our deep, decade-long R&D frameowrk—ranging from systems currently in active deployment to next-generation platforms designed for future naval warfare. Our recent collaboration with the Indian Navy on the High-Altitude Pseudo-Satellite (HAPS) platform remains a proud milestone in our journey to bolster India’s maritime security.
As the Navy accelerates its drive toward Atmanirbharta and technological superiority, we are grateful for the Admiral’s insightful engagement. Such interactions reinforce our commitment to the collective mission: fortifying India’s naval strength through indigenous innovation and purpose-built defense systems.
