The visit was to seek partnership with the branch to minimize autocrash through advocacy and publicity. And to seek active participation of the NSE Chairman in the SARS ( State Road Safety Advisory Council) to enhance active participation of everyone in Road Safety.

Today, the Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corp in company of units head paid a courtesy call on the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Calabar Branch in the Calabar Engineering Center( John Egbe house).The delegation was received by Exco and Past Chairmen of the Branch.

The President promised National support to the Calabar Branch as we complete our permanent secretariat after the destruction of our operational office in the premises of the Cross River Ministry of Works.

The president of the Nigerian Society of Engineers visited the Calabar Branch today for on the spot assessment of the damage of our office and thereafter visited the permanent Secretariat.

The Chairman of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Calabar Branch, Engr. Ndifon Agbiji condemns in totality the action of the miscreants, hoodlums and enemies of our dear state who hijacked the peaceful #EndSARSProtest to loot, vandalize and destroy public and private properties

The operational office of our professional body within the premises of the Cross River Ministry of Works was completely vandalised, looted and destroyed. Valuables and items that could not be carted away were completely burnt. NSECAL lost everything that took us years to build
