We invested time on Forever Gone but system allowed NSFT to produce this latest report (as if it’s trustworthy). It’s full of flaws. Not worth paper it’s written on. We’ll wait for public inquiry.

It is impossible for these figures to be accurate given a starting point of lost patient IDs meaning the trust could not track back. Plus a methodology of 250 staff (with a mix of clinical and non clinical skills) looking at the data means no consistency. Puff review.

On eve of @NSFTtweets releasing their learning from deaths review, let’s remember a few points from Forever Gone and our input into the mortality working group (before we resigned on principle)
1- We said a retrospective review into deaths would be meaningless waste of resources.

@nuwandiss We follow mental health related deaths and suicides in Norfolk/Suffolk. There has been no let up in the last couple of years. Anecdotally, the number seems to be increasing despite claims of improving services. Also we observe the nature of many of these deaths seems worse too.
