@DonaldJTrumpJr It's a good thing your family doesn't accept money from Russian oligarchs, or someone might suspect that there was an ulterior motive behind this claim.
@sentdefender ...whereas the US merely asked the Houthis to stop shooting at everyone else's ships. Still open season on the Saudi ships.
The Saudis have surely noticed which country is the better ally.
If US sells F-35s to the Saudis, China is going to take a close look at them.
@Osint613 Or the rest of the world gives Ukraine the support that it needs to drive the Russians completely out, THIS year.
Or conquest is normalized again and the rest of the world watches this pattern repeat, again and again.
The wise choice is obvious.
@meowdystranger@AndrewPerpetua Yeah, they stopped exporting back in July.
Prices went from $3.80 to $5.40 in February, when The US and Israel started bombing Iran.
Prices went from $5.60 to $6.00 in the last couple weeks.
@Osint613 That might even be true, in a very technical sense. Closing the Strait would only require strikes on very specific ships. Just enough to turn the Bab al-Mandab Strait into a war zone when the owners of those ships (and their allies) strike back. Iran would love that.
@Osint613 "I was there, obviously not on the same day as the collapse..."
...said the man who claimed to have been pulled from the rubble of the collapse by two firefighters on the day of the collapse.
If he wasn't so good at telling on himself he wouldn't be good at anything at all.
@wartranslated The closest thing I've seen to corroboration of this story is reports that ATMs in Crimea are running out of cash. But that's a Crimea problem, not a VTB problem or a Russian-banking-system problem.
@NestenL@wartranslated That was probably a translated page, as Robin said. But sometimes yes they do have English in their product images. Check out this body armor:
