Every child growing up in America deserves a high-quality education that equips them with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities they need to thrive. The U.S. federal government plays a vital role in ensuring that students and teachers—regardless of zip code—have the resources they need to succeed by providing funding to schools serving low-income communities, expanding access to affordable college opportunities, and using data to drive smart education polices. The administration must put a real plan in place to continue this important work. Without it, students, communities, and our nation’s economy will face devastating consequences.
