Cisco’s largest Indiana-based reseller, NSI brings exceptional, complete solutions to the mid-level and enterprise markets of Indiana and the surrounding states
A cybersecurity gap could soon cost more than data. It could cost the contract.
As CMMC requirements expand, manufacturers and defense suppliers must be prepared to prove their security—not simply describe it. That means understanding what information they handle, which systems are in scope, and whether their controls can withstand an assessment.
Is your business ready?

Identity used to mean people. Now it includes machines, workloads, databases, Kubernetes clusters—and AI agents moving at machine speed.
Cisco’s work with Teleport signals where infrastructure security is headed: fewer standing privileges, short-lived credentials, and stronger proof of who or what is accessing critical systems.
The perimeter didn’t disappear. It became identity.

Data center networking is carrying a much bigger workload these days—and Cisco just earned some significant recognition for how it's approaching the challenge.
Forrester named Cisco a Leader in its Q3 2026 Data Center Network Solutions Wave, with Cisco receiving the highest possible score in 16 of 32 criteria and the highest score among evaluated vendors for Strategy. https://t.co/jfDNZVCwaO
What caught our attention is the emphasis on bringing networking, security, observability, automation, and AI infrastructure support together through Cisco Nexus, Nexus One, and Cloud Control.
That's a strong direction as traditional and AI workloads increasingly share the same infrastructure.

This is a pretty startling number: researchers found more than 9,300 publicly exposed AWS access keys that were still active. Hundreds were tied to corporate environments, including root and administrator-level credentials capable of providing extensive control.
Some of these keys had been exposed for years.
Cloud security can get complicated. Keeping credentials out of public code repositories shouldn't be.

A previously unknown malware family dubbed SynkLoader is being distributed in Microsoft Teams phishing campaigns to steal credentials via a fake lock screen.
The attacker impersonates the target company's IT help desk, a tactic Microsoft highlighted earlier this year as increasingly common in multi-stage attacks.

A supply-chain attack targeting Android-based car head units is using a legitimate device-update app to spread malware that enlists compromised devices in a proxy botnet or uses them for ad fraud.
Kaspersky researchers analyzed the malware and attributed the operation to the MoYu group, a threat actor previously associated with the BadBox malware botnet.

What an awesome kick off to our new relationships with Pinnacle Technology Solutions, Pinnacle Business Systems and QCM Technologies!
Our Picnic and Cornhole Cup was great fun and gave us a chance to get to know our new company family!
Special thanks to Victor Martino, Charles Reynolds, David Traxler, Charles Moore and Amber Lawhun for coming in from all over the country to be with us and make us feel so welcome!
We also owe great thanks to Jon Paul Phillips from TD SYNNEX and Scott Daugherty from Cisco flying in to celebrate with us with
#cornhole and #tacos!!!
Everyone's long travel days are MUCH appreciated!!!
Great things are coming!
If Citrix NetScaler is part of your environment, this belongs on today's patching list.
Citrix has disclosed two new vulnerabilities affecting NetScaler ADC and Gateway, including an authentication bypass that can be exploited remotely without privileges under certain configurations. A second flaw can be used for denial-of-service attacks.
There’s no reported active exploitation yet, but history suggests waiting isn't a great strategy with internet-facing infrastructure.

AI-generated text may soon carry an invisible signature.
Anthropic is exploring ways to watermark Claude's output so AI-generated content can be identified later, without visibly changing what the reader sees.
For business leaders, this could have implications well beyond content creation. Think governance, compliance, academic integrity, fraud, intellectual property, and eventually the ability to establish where digital content actually came from.
AI will becomes harder to distinguish from human work.

The question isn’t whether to invest in AI—it’s whether your foundation can deliver measurable value.
Cisco’s latest results send CEOs and CFOs a clear message: AI returns depend on the infrastructure beneath them.
Secure, resilient, automated networks accelerate growth, improve productivity, reduce risk, and protect capital.

A malicious website. An unsuspecting developer. And potentially, remote code execution inside an AI environment.
CISA has added a critical vulnerability affecting Ray to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog after evidence of active exploitation. The flaw uses DNS rebinding to potentially turn a developer's browser into a path to Ray instances—including systems inside private networks.
Ray 2.52.0 addresses the issue, and federal agencies have until August 20 to apply fixes or mitigations.
An interesting example of how AI infrastructure is creating some very familiar security problems in unfamiliar places.

The network is up. Every dashboard is green. So why is the application still slow?
Modern application performance depends on more than the infrastructure an organization owns. Internet routing, cloud platforms, SaaS providers, identity services, APIs, and endpoint conditions can all affect the user experience.
Our latest article explains how digital experience assurance helps IT teams find hidden problems faster, connect network health with application performance, and focus on what matters most: whether users can successfully complete critical business tasks.

It could soon become easier to identify AI-generated content, even if it's not the usual "It's Not X, it's Y" type of post you'd come across on LinkedIn and other socials.
As you may be aware, the EU now requires AI companies serving its market to mark their AI-generated content so it's easier to identify.

The Netherlands’ National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) is warning that hackers are actively exploiting a macOS authentication bypass vulnerability after public exploit code emerged.
The security issue lies in macOS Screen Sharing, a built-in remote desktop feature that allows remote desktop control over a network, using the VNC protocol over TCP port 5900.

As businesses lean on AI for productivity gains and better customer experiences, security teams are struggling to secure this adoption. This challenge is further compounded by frontier AI models like Mythos. Not only are these models accelerating vulnerability discovery—leaving IT teams scrambling to secure aging hardware—they are also empowering enterprising IT engineers to spin up AI-powered agents to speed up operations.

A previously unseen Android near field communication relay malware family dubbed WindRelay is being deployed in conjunction with a known remote access trojan (RAT) called SpyNote as part of a contactless payment fraud scheme.
The purpose-built malware, according to Group-IB, is designed to capture live card data via NFC and transmit it to fraudsters in real time. It was first detected in the wild in late August 2025.
