I am really lucky then, I learnt it quite early from listening to teaching by Sam Adeyemi on Planning many years ago...
One of the things he said and I won't forget was that in Africa we practiced what is called Crab Technology, he further explained.
He said if you want to keep a Crab in a basket, just put another crab or more inside the basket, no Crab will get out...
So in essence, you're struggling to get out of the rat race and instead of you to keep your seed for planting, you're giving it out in the name of kindness, he said the trick was to get out first, then send down a rope to draw others out.
I was in my twenties when I listened to that teaching, it helped me greatly when I started business at the time, I was called greedy and stingy, but I paid no attention "mo focus pa" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
To the young folks on here remember that the money you make in your earlier years is a seed that should be planted, for it will become a tree one day create sheds, provide fruits and equally take care of those who called you names at some point.
Giving is good, but give from a position of strength 💪🏾, never give from a position that you also drown in the process it's simply foolishness.
It sounds harsh I know, but that's what it takes to save your future.
Once you get your first job, other job opportunities will start coming.
That first job is the most challenging one.
So, keep knocking until the door opens.
My fav thing about this interview is just how they are letting him speak uninterrupted while he says more and more stupid shit and tries to mansplain inflation to the Economists editor-in-chief 😭😭
