31. “He is taller than me” vs. “He is taller than I am”

In everyday English, “taller than me” is very common and accepted. In more formal writing, “taller than I am” can be clearer.

❌ Less formal/awkward: He is taller than I.
✅ Correct: He is taller than me.
✅ Formal: He is taller than I am.

Tip: Don’t use “than I” by itself in ordinary sentences.
