During Nigeria's COVID-19 response, early detection of low oxygen levels became a critical part of patient care.
Through the Global Fund COVID-19 Response Mechanism, implemented by @NACANigeria, @NTBLCP and partners with support from @GlobalFund, over 7,730 pulse oximeters were distributed, helping health workers monitor patients and provide timely care across Nigeria.

Beyond oxygen supply, supporting patient comfort was also critical to COVID-19 care.
Through the Global Fund COVID-19 Response Mechanism project in Nigeria, implemented by the National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA), the National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Control Programme (NTBLCP), and partners, with support from the Global Fund, 10,296 humidifiers were distributed to strengthen respiratory care across health facilities.

To strengthen access to life-saving oxygen during the COVID-19 response in Nigeria, 21,291 medical oxygen cylinders were procured under the Global Fund COVID-19 Response Mechanism project in Nigeria implemented by @NACANigeria, @NTBLCP1, and other partners, with support from @GlobalFund.
This includes 9,588 large cylinders and 11,703 medium cylinders distributed to improve oxygen availability in health facilities across the country.

In Mabushi, we saw the World TB Day 2026 slogan come alive as @NTBLCP1 and FCT TB LCP led an integrated TB, HIV, and malaria awareness, testing and screening services, POWERED by Mabushi community in collaboration with implementing partners.
