Whole time I was just admiring the clouds & trees I'm seeing outside🌞
We're not children, if I wasn't okay I would express that. Sometimes we also find yall irritating too bc why you forcing an adult to conversate.. why you afraid of silence?Leave us be. We are having fun🤍
I may delete this in an hour, but screenshot it if you want. I have nothing but contempt for popular people who use their influence to promote BETTING. In a country where gambling is destroying lives and families, monetising that misery is unconscionable. Have some shame!!! 😳 🤯
So, let me tell you something.
White parents are big on sex education with their teens while black parents are delulu and hoping our teens are not having sex when we know very well that they do.
Instead of beating up your teen when you find out uyajola, sit them down and talk about the risks of having sex. But no.. sex talk with black parents is a taboo. A no go area. We do not teach our boys to use protection or our girls measures to not get pregnant.
Another issue is the "ingane iyisibusiso esivela kumdali" nonsense that prevents black parents to encourage termination and also that teens hide their pregnancy until they can't hide it anymore which also brings me to the point of black parents not being involved with their teens.
Sex education is important. Not an easy topic but it must be done..
Do not get me wrong. I am not saying encourage your children to have sex. I am saying educate them about it. And abstinence is the key 🔑 👌 🙌
LOVE LIFE
Good news from around the world that nobody is talking about.
1. Finland has been officially recognized as the best country for families.
2. In Brazil, elderly people with dementia are reconnecting with their memories through personalised music therapy.
3. Scotland became the first country in the world to make menstrual products free for everyone.
4. A man who lost his arm received the world's first-ever transplant of both arms and shoulders and, 23 years later, was finally able to hug his family again.
5. Spain has taken in 100 Palestinians from Gaza, including 20 seriously ill and injured children along with their families.
Call it a millennial crisis if you want...
But in my 30's, I realized I don't actually want the life I worked so hard for. I don't care about titles. I don't care about climbing anyone else's ladder. I care about time. I care about slow mornings. I care about peace.I care about bare feet at the beach with nowhere to be.
I still want to make money... just not at the cost of my life.
The worst part of applying for jobs is having to write cover letters explaining my deep passion for a company I had no idea existed until I saw the job listing 2 hours ago
