Correct! Our team never shares the Ed Day schedule or list of speakers. This is in part to not confuse people between the two programs, and in part, this is to not entice others to attend Ed Day, which is a closed event for teachers & librarians only.

The author signing is from 3:30-5 p.m. Prep your books with the provided sticky notes to help the authors sign to the right person. The limit is 3 books per person per turn in line, but staff may change the limit at any time if a line is going a bit long. No rolling carts.
Educators who work outside of DFW absolutely may attend Ed Day, but everyone still must register with either ESC in Region 10 or 11 so they can provide PD credits.
Please note: we will not be posting the Ed Day program publicly. That will be available at sign-in the day of.

Ed Day 2026 will feature more than two dozen YA & MG authors. This is a private, professional learning opportunity so attendance is limited to educators. Registration is required to attend. We ask that educators do not bring children.
