There’s a train announcer that works at #liverpoolstreet on the central line platforms who genuinely brightens my day whenever he works. His announcements are always so funny and positive - it makes a huge difference. Big thank you to the lovely man working this evening!
Nah leave maya henry alone. It’s a very isolating experience to grieve an ex who was not the best. Love remains and still hurts. You lot are weird for blaming anyone at all, let alone people who loved that man.
No no no. I’m gutted hearing of Liam Payne. TMZ is disgusting. His poor family, his son, his son’s mother. Life will forever have a different tone. Losing someone who was imperfect is so complex and fucking hard. I hope he is at peace and far from the turmoil that fame brought.
… is also widely used as a drinking game, similar to Thunderstruck by AC/DC, the next person drinks when the song says Jai Ho (alot). It’s nostalgic to lots of people in the UK, its resurgence now is due to an influencer posting to it and jolting memories for predominantly Gen Z
Seen a lot of confusion regarding Jai Ho summer… for context Jai Ho has been a popular song in the UK since the pussy cat dolls covered it in 2009, it was always played at school discos, PE (we even had to learn a choreographed dance to this when I was like 9?). The song (cont)
THIS IS A COMPLETELY NORMAL FEMALE BODY. she’s not pregnant, she doesn’t even have “a belly,” she just has normal female fat distribution and isn’t sucking it in, flexing, or using shapewear. This is what most women’s bodies look like when relaxed. ITS NORMAL.
As someone who has been stalked, I wouldn’t want my stalker to be given this platform, for my sake AND for theirs. Nobody who commits these crimes is mentally stable and should be given help not a fucking Piers Morgan interview. This is grim 😦 #BabyReindeer
Regrettably I’m watching Piers Morgan’s interview with Fiona Harvey and am immediately so uncomfortable. Stalking is of course a serious offence, but it’s not fair at all to take advantage of someone so unstable for views. Not fair to Richard or Fiona, the whole thing is gross🫤
#BabyReindeer is such an important piece of media because it’s a very raw depiction of stalking, which is often romanticised and over looked. In the UK stalking is (supposed to be) treated with the same severity as DV, including cyber stalking. It is very real and very isolating.
