What Atrocities Did the Junta Commit During Its 100-Day Scheme?
The military junta, while desperately pretending to be a good leader, has installed #MinAungHlaing as proxy president to aggressively push its "100-Day Plan." Their goal is to deceive the world with a sham election and a puppet parliament. However, within the past 70 days alone, the Ministry of Human Rights documented 1,045 Human Rights violations.
These blatant war crimes include targeted massacres, systematic airstrikes on displacement camps, and the burning of civilian homes.
This raises a critical question for the world: How can a regime seeking international legitimacy through a "100-Day Plan" brutally slaughter its own people? Their proclaimed "100 Days of Stability" is actually "100 Days of Atrocities" built on blood, ashes, and lives. Detailed evidence can be found in the infographic below.
These targeted aerial attacks must stop immediately. The Ministry of Human Rights urgently calls on the international community to swiftly sanction and cut off all aviation fuel supply chains and financial resources flowing to the military junta.

Announcement by the Steering Council for the Emergence of a Federal Democratic Union (SCEF)
Date: March 30, 2026
In order to advance our ongoing revolution and achieve victory at the earliest possible time; to advance the current revolutionary phase by adopting the Federal Transitional Arrangements and successfully establish a transitional government; and to effectively implement the processes of building a Federal Democratic Union— we have formally established the Steering Council for the Emergence of a Federal Democratic Union (SCEF) on the following three pillars:
1. The pillar representing States/Federal Units/EROs
2. The pillar representing the people
3. The pillar representing women — to coordinate, lead, guide, and implement military, political, federal, and institutional matters.
We hereby solemnly announce this formation to all the people.
Our vision and strategic objectives are to completely dismantle all forms of dictatorship, including the military dictatorship, and to collectively initiate a new political landscape that can effectively and practically realize our political aspirations and positions.
Furthermore, we are committed to protecting and promoting the diverse identities of all ethnic nationalities residing within members states and units of the Union, and to firmly building a new Federal Democratic Union composed of states that fully guarantee equality among nationalities and the right to self-determination.
To ensure the swift achievement of these objectives, we will lead and coordinate the military and political activities of all revolutionary forces with legitimacy, unity, and accountable leadership.
To realize these goals, we have firmly adopted the following six political objectives:
(1) To overturn the usurpation of state power by the military, and to terminate the involvement of the armed forces in politics
(2) To ensure that all armed forces operate solely under the command of a civilian government elected through democratic processes
(3) To abrogate the constitution of 2008 in its entirety, and to quash all attempts to reinstate its provisions
(4) To draft and promulgate a new constitution that embodies federalism and democratic values, garnering the consensus of all relevant parties
(5) To establish a new federal democratic union in accordance with the proposed federal democratic constitution
(6) To institute a system of transitional justice to achieve justice and accountability for victims of injustices, including gender-based violence, during the conflict period.
In carrying out its functions, the SCEF upholds the principle that sovereignty belongs to the people residing within the States/Federal Units, and adopts the principle of shared sovereignty between the Union and the States/Federal Units.
In political decision-making, we will practice collective leadership, ensuring that the voices of Ethnic Revolutionary Organizations (EROs), democratic resistance forces, women’s groups, and representatives of the people are meaningfully included.
Member organizations of the Council will act based on mutual respect and recognition of diversity, and will adopt and implement the principle of “one policy, one strategy.” Through coordinated efforts across military, political, and administrative sectors, we will work in unity with the people and allied forces to achieve our shared goals while promoting broader representation.
We hereby make this announcement.

"Statement Regarding the Mass Killing of Civilians in Nyaunglaybin Township"
March 14, 2026
On March 5, 2026, at approximately 5:00 AM, combined columns under the 77th Light Infantry Division of the terrorist military launched an offensive into Yedwinkone, Kharukone, and Kyaungkone villages in Nyaunglaybin Township, Bago Region. Using airstrikes, drones, and heavy artillery, the military committed a massacre that resulted in the deaths of 29 civilians, including a pregnant woman, children, and the elderly.
Furthermore, as the terrorist military held over 300 civilians hostage within the villages, they were eventually rescued through a joint operation. This rescue was conducted by units under the Bago Military Region Command of the People's Defense Force (PDF) - Military Region No. 2, Ministry of Defense, National Unity Government, in coordination with units under the command of Brigade 3 of the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA). During this operation, one comrade from the PDF Bago Region Military Command and two comrades from KNLA Battalions 7 and 9 sacrificed their lives with honor, while seven other comrades sustained serious injuries.
Throughout the five-year period in which the terrorist military has attempted to illegally seize sovereign power, they have carried out numerous airstrikes resulting in mass civilian casualties. According to data compiled by the Ministry of Human Rights of the National Unity Government as of March 10, 2026, the terrorist military has committed 5,041 aerial attack incidents using jet fighters, drones, gyrocopters, and paramotors. These incidents involved a total of 10,651 individual strikes, leading to the injury and death of 5,075 civilians. There have been 520 documented cases of massacre (incidents where five or more people were killed), resulting in a total of 5,505 deaths.
The National Unity Government will exhaust all possible avenues to ensure justice for every single citizen who has been affected or killed. We will also prioritize the provision of effective humanitarian aid to the bereaved families and internally displaced persons.
While the terrorist military prepares to convene a sham parliament and form a puppet group under the guise of a government following their illegal, fraudulent elections, they continue to daily perpetrate targeted attacks on the civilian population. These include airstrikes, heavy artillery shelling, military offensives, and mass killings. We solemnly urge the international community not to ignore such atrocities and war crimes, and to take immediate, effective action. We call for a halt to the export and sale of aircraft, weaponry, ammunition, and fuel—including aviation fuel—to the terrorist military. Furthermore, we demand that no legitimacy be granted to the sham parliament or the puppet "government" groups, which are merely rebranded fronts for the terrorist military.
