Reddit /r/playrust is wild, bitching about WIP changes, screenshots without full context and you've not even played it yet. You can have an opinion, let's get an informed opinion. Some of the best changes to Rust were the ones which were overwhelming negative till they went live publicly and now part of the core game loop. Give it a month, play it, then tell us if its shit. Let's experiment, spice it up a little. There are lots of good changes on the horizon.
@Willjum1 They honestly need to take six months, stop adding stuff and just polish all the things they have ADDED into the game the last few years, from attack helis to monument balancing and progression slowing. However I doubt this will happen.
@Alistair_McF A significantly better experiance. I did an SEA wipe on rustafied for a video recently and counted 13% of the servers pop banned by the second day for cheating or association bans, i jumped on a preimum server at wipe and i think i seen 1 max in the same time frame.
I’m all for slowing progression, it needs to happen. But for the players who need to be slowed down the most (clans) this won’t change much. It’ll just be more of that awful scrap grind for smaller groups/solos. I don’t recommend this, it doesn’t solve the problem. (1/2)
