Gminers👋🏻
I don't often write threads, but today I'll make an exception. In anticipation of big events in @redstone_defi, I want to tell you how my path in this project began and how my attitude to the web3 industry has changed☝🏻
My Journey with RedStone (@redstone_defi )
In June 2023, I discovered RedStone through one of the co-founders of my community, On Chainers Bangladesh (@On_ChainersBD )—DarkD (@darkd_zen ). At the time, we were deep into researching Web3 projects, trying to identify potential game-changers in the space. DarkD spotted RedStone early on and recognized its potential. He urged me and others in our community to dive in, particularly as RedStone was giving out OG roles. I remember crafting a story within a story to secure my OG role—and it worked!
From Lone Wolf to RedStone Deep Miner
Back then, I was a degen, constantly on the hunt for promising projects that could yield significant rewards, whether through token allocations, airdrops, or trading. I had just completed my 12th grade and was exploring the Web3 space with all the free time I had. However, I was a lone wolf, unconnected to any company or protocol—I was simply making money on my own.
That changed when I got into RedStone. The technology behind it immediately caught my attention. As an ex-PHP developer, I have a knack for analyzing tech stacks, and RedStone’s modular approach stood out to me. Unlike other oracles, RedStone operates independently without relying on third parties. Its modular design ensures that even if one component fails, the system as a whole remains operational. This level of innovation, combined with the presence of industry giants betting on RedStone’s future, convinced me to stay.
And then, there was Jawor (@0xjvrsky ). His dedication and leadership inspired me to become who I am today within RedStone. Along the way, Mikolaj (@grokier_ ) also joined the journey. They shared not just knowledge, but also resources, time, and—let’s be honest—some amazing alpha!
Climbing the Ranks
My first role in RedStone was simple: keep the chats alive and moderate them effectively. I started in June, and by August, when the ambassador program launched, I secured the Vein Master role within just four days. The following month, I was promoted to Deep Miner. Over time, my responsibilities expanded. I was entrusted with reviewing Zealy tasks, brainstorming community activities, and shaping event strategies. Eventually, I became responsible for scouting and recruiting potential new ambassadors while filtering out those who weren’t a good fit.
Challenges and Triumphs
One of the toughest parts of my role was handling applicants who didn’t make the cut as ambassadors. It was always challenging to maintain professionalism while addressing their frustrations. Reviewing and rejecting Zealy tasks was another pain point—explaining the reasons behind disqualifications wasn’t the most fun part of the job.
Despite these challenges, I take immense pride in my journey with RedStone. I’ve been with the community since the early days, witnessing its rise—from gaining recognition among industry leaders to securing multiple rounds of investment and integrating hundreds of protocols and chains. Through it all, I was there, growing alongside the project.
Why RedStone?
RedStone stands out because of its technology and independence. Unlike other oracles, we don’t rely on third parties—we are self-sufficient and built to last. RedStone was discussing low-latency feeds before the market even realized their necessity. That forward-thinking approach convinced me that the team isn’t just following trends—they’re shaping the future.
I believe RedStone is on its way to becoming one of the most significant players in the oracle industry. The team’s vision and execution have never wavered, and I have full faith in their ability to lead us to the #1 spot.
Personal Growth and Community Bond
My journey with RedStone has been transformative. I’ve learned to think like a leader, negotiate better, and build relationships across the industry. The connections I’ve made wouldn’t have been possible without RedStone.
One of my most memorable moments was completing my first year with RedStone and receiving an official shoutout. It was unexpected and truly rewarding.
Looking Ahead
I plan to keep contributing to the RedStone community while continuously upskilling myself. There are better days ahead for all RedStone Miners, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
RedStone is more than just a project—it’s a movement for better DeFi, and I’m proud to be part of it.

@Heiko_network Heiko cares about one thing and one thing only: creating the cheapest, fastest, and highest throughput EVM platform. Product-wise, everything else is secondary.
