Still locked in!
Stopping the regular lock-in posts (they werenโt adding much value anyway). I mostly started them to get into a routine and now Iโm totally in the flow.

@a_mythh IPv4 reserves the entire range: 127.0.0.0-127.255.255.255 for loopback. 127.0.0.1 simply became the standard people use for it, mostly a design decision that was taken in the early days of IPv4.
@a_mythh we cant simply turn off IPv4 there are several reasons:
IPv4 and IPv6 are not directly compatible, an IPv4-only device cant understand IPv6. Internet is controlled by several different organisations, everyone would have to upgrade together . A slow transition is alr happening.
