For the 6th straight year (1st 6 years ever) in #CatholicSTL, we have more students enrolled in 9th grade in our Catholic high schools than we had last year in 8th grade. In fact there were 203 more freshmen this year than 8th grade students last year in our Cath. elem. schools.
Catholic elementary schools are strong in many parts of #CatholicSTL. The following schools have increased enrollment at least 3 consecutive years. Some have increased more years than that. These schools represent 8 of our 11 counties.
@JimLyonSTL Too complicated for 288 characters. only one of these schools has increased enrollment from a recent school closure. 1/2 of these schools are growing or have been stable. The other 1/2 are experiencing modest declines because of fewer Catholic children in the area.
