how difficult is it to properly translate 新春の候

"spring returns" or "at the start of spring" doesnt work in the context the game is presenting and i'm not sure how this is said so often but nobody seems to get the hint

@Hoodniggab58701 I thibk they translated it too word for word that it sometimes it loses its meaning like when Habaki, you can hear from his VA that he talks too informal but the text in the bottom reads too formal
