The question with privacy always is who has permission to see what is assumed to be private. You cannot see my bank account, however many bank employees can take a look at my account without my permission. The taxing authority can gain my access to my account. Can someone at Chainlink with the right permissions see "private information"? If Chainlink received a subpoena to turn over records for an address are they able to turn over clear text content? Building a public view barrier, access control, is not privacy. If the data is on-chain, in node logs, in request payloads, or in any third-party API logs, it’s discoverable by someone with the right permission, legal authority, or breach access. Privacy first, vs privacy as an after thought.
