Yesterday, we joined the R3al World AI Summit by @iotex_io with our partner @truflation and @fiftyfly as a guest on the panel:
"Stablecoins unlock global demand for RWAs"
with prominent guests Sy Noel (@MetaMask / @Consensys), @ben_grossman (@OndoFinance), and @ClaireBiasco (IoTeX).
This week, we are in Singapore, representing Nuon stablecoin and its @MaxCapVIP decentralized asset allocation layer at @token2049.
Gasoline reached over $4 in April, according to our independent gasoline index, which aggregates multiple price data sources both nationally and by state.
Truflation is a real-world and economic data aggregator with hundreds of financial indexes and a wealth of proprietary data, including unique indexes we calculate by sourcing information from independent data providers and Chainlink, and putting our data onchain using Chainlink data reels.
This year, Truflation grew and scaled:
- Released +210 economic and financial indexes.
- Helped create new products like @NuonFinance v2 and @indexdotfun.
- Honed our @TRUFNETWORK tech stack to combine universal PostgreSQL and blockchain to standardize all data and make it easily queryable and instantly computable onchain.
- Started to monetize some of our data through an enterprise and retail subscription models.
- Built a skeleton for a prediction market's functionality.
None of this would be possible without ongoing support from the Chailink Build program, Chainlink team, and its supportive community. Thank you all, and have a great end of the year!

🇺🇸 Truflation US Inflation today: 2.7%
Our numbers indicate that US inflation is slowly heading back towards 3% from its all-time low in April 2025 at 1.22%. The recent spikes were driven by higher prices of goods and alcohol for holiday shoppers.
The food inflation, which had been steadily declining this year, also spiked on Friday.
BEA just released their September (!) PCE data.
September PCE: 2.8% (previous 2.7%, expected 2.8%)
September Core PCE: 2.8% (previous 2.9%, expected 2.9%)
Meanwhile, Truflation has been reporting daily PCE data using independent data sources:
🇺🇸 Truflation PCE today: 2.13%
🇺🇸 Truflation Core PCE today: 2.6%
We obtain our PCE index by taking millions of price data and assigning them to BEA's categories and subcategories and their BEA's weighting to make our index directly comparable but using more current and real prices from real purchases, as opposed to surveyed prices.
Join us for X Spaces with Sam Friedman @proof_of_sam
and Jarryd Pretorius @jarryd_pret who'll discuss how Chainlink and Truflation work together to put economic data on blockchain, the next evolutionary step in finance, the "info finance".

🚨 Tomorrow, we have a special guest on our X Spaces.
@proof_of_sam from @chainlink will join our CTO @jarryd_pret to discuss the future of financial and economic data onchain.

Chainlink has been doing tremendous work over the years, spearheading blockchain adoption and educating institutions and policymakers about decentralized data.
Tomorrow, we'll discuss the future of finance, which we think will run fully on blockchain.

🇺🇸 Truflation CPI today is: 2.48% edging up since its mid-year lows. This was mainly driven by the price of household goods and natural gas.
🇺🇸 Truflation PCE is now stabilized at 2.15%, one of the lowest levels this year, while Truflation core PCE is at a moderate 2.62% today.
This week in macro has been dominated by Central Banks, with all eyes on the Fed's upcoming FOMC meeting and the Bank of Japan (BoJ).
Markets are pricing in a high probability of another 25 bps cut by the Fed at the December 9–10 meeting.
The last FOMC meeting in October also saw a 25 bps cut, but the commentary and minutes revealed an unusually split committee, which sparked recent waves of speculation.
Because of the wide debate around the Fed's upcoming decisions, markets now await BEA's September PCE release, which was rescheduled to December 5 and is the only inflation data to come out before the FOMC meeting, after the October CPI was cancelled due to a lack of data.
It's worth noting that this release will be about data from 3 months ago, whereas when you look at Truflation's PCE chart, a lot of inflation volatility happened over the last 3 months.
In Japan, BoJ Governor Ueda has signaled that a rate hike is on the table for the Central Bank's 18-19 December meeting, pushing it from the current 0.5% to 0.75%, and potentially heading in the direction of Japan's neutral interest rate, currently estimated by BoJ at 2.5% (!).
A neutral interest rate is one that neither stimulates nor hampers economic growth, and it depends on multiple changing factors, such as a country's growth and productivity, making it difficult to estimate.
BoJ stance pushed up Japanese bond yields and increased volatility in risky global assets as traders tried to time the BoJ’s exit from ultra-easy policy, which will affect the long-standing Yen carry trade.
Tuesday AMA with our CEO @fiftyfly is LIVE
Today we'll discuss:
- Truflation data
- Yen Carry Trade
- The Fed QT coming to an end
- Stock and crypto markets
- New Truflation products

Truflation’s real-time inflation data is now powering a new Bitcoin Blockchain Traded Fund built by @QuantAMMDeFi and automated through the @Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE).
The strategy uses our inflation regime model to shift between BTC and USDC based on macro conditions. This is a concrete step for onchain products that react to real-time inflation data.
This exciting development is an example of how Truflation can be used to gather alpha signals and build trading strategies.
Check out our CTO @jarryd_pret talk about our years-long participation in the @Chainlink Build Program, developing an independent, transparent infrastructure for macroeconomic data on the blockchain.
Our team just hit the ground in Argentina, where we will visit Devconnect @EFDevcon and @Chainlink House to talk the new trading strategies that use Truflation data!
