דו”ח חדש של בצלם, “ילדות חשופה”,מראה כיצד ההרג הנרחב של ילדים פלסטינים הפך לחלק מהמציאות שישראל יוצרת ומקיימת.

מי שלוחץ על ההדק הוא תמיד חייל אחד. אבל ההרג מתאפשר באמצעות מערכת שלמה: הדרג המדיני והצבאי מתווים את המדיניות ומגבים אותה; מערכת החוק הישראלית מסייעת לטייח את מעשי ההרג, ��עניקהחסינות למבצעים ומתנערת מחובתה לדרוש דין וחשבון מהאחראים; והציבור הישראלי נע בין תמיכה גלויה באלימות לבין אדישות.

התוצאה: מאז אוקטובר 2023 לא הוגש אפילו כתב אישום אחד נגד חיילים בגין הרג ��לסטינים בגדה המערבית.

אחד המנגנונים שמאפשרים את המציאות הזאת הוא התיוג האוטומטי של כמעט כל פלסטיני שנהרג כ”מחבל” או “מעורב בטרור”. כך גם ילדים ובני נוער שלא סיכנו איש מוצגים כאיום, וההרג שלהם זוכה לגיבוי ואףללגיטימציה בדיעבד.

תהליכים עמוקים של דה־הומניזציה מייצרים את התנאים שבהם חייהם של כל הפלסטינים, גם ילדים, הופכים להפקר, והפגיעה בהם נתפסת כמותרת.

הדו”ח “ילדות חשופה” מציג את סיפוריהם של כל 54 הילדים ובני הנוער שישראל הרגה בשנת 2025, לצד העדויות, התחקירים והממצאים שנאספו בכל אחד מהמקרים.
