🗓️ Today is Srebrenica Memorial Day, marking 31 years since the Bosnian genocide in July 1995.

As @FCDOGovUK Minister, I visited Bosnia in 2024 & met the brave surviving women who still await justice.

It is important we continue remembering & honouring the many victims of what has been described by the United Nations as the ‘worst crime on European soil since the Second World War’.

Prayers with the victims of what is being reported as targeted anti muslim violence in Edinburgh.
Anti-terrorism police are involved- this anti-muslim violence doesn’t exist in a vacuum and shamefully its on the rise.
