@BallouxFrancois It's certainly an interesting optimal stopping problem. My guess is that now is the time to let it do its thing and I'm personally hoping to catch this one. If it's a local minimum in severity, I lose. If it's the global minimum, I win big. Plus, y'know, dodging totalitarianism.

It is reasonable to expect lower severity most commonly, and if we are making it harder to transmit, then we should expect increased transmissibility. Surprise .... omicron. This could be the variant to get if you want natural immunity.
