π ARFID is common in DGBI + can worsen outcomes
π Combining sorbitol & fibre (e.g. dried fruit) can support chronic constipation

@bda_gastro 5. The pinnacle of my career. I think the top highlights so far are getting my dream role as a B6 GastroSurgical dietitian, helping to run the @bda_gastro
study day including speaking to a 100 dietitians at the AGM and my CN articles #DW2024#dietitiansweek2024
Happy dietitians week! π I've been busy so I'm condensing the themes into 1 thread today! See my insta for more details.
I chose a career in dietetics as it felt the perfect way to combine my passion for caring and helping people with my interest in nutrition and health. #DW2024
@bda_gastro 4. My route into Dietetics: I had a few education breaks due to mental health and also briefly worked in care and retail before completing an UG dietetics degree as a mature student. This definitely benefited my confidence and maturity when going on placements. #DW2024
New resource coming soon! Currently at graphic design, we've had lots of interest in the bile acid malabsorption resource already. Look out for newsletter and website updates for Prescribe and print publication dates: https://t.co/Flzp34VuAL

It is normal to:
β¨οΈEat different amounts on different days
β¨οΈ Eat less fruits or vegetables on one day and more on another
β¨οΈ Eat more during social occasions
We're not robots with a set number of macronutrients we need to 'achieve' every day..we're complex human beings
