AM radio is essential to America’s National Public Warning System and emergency communication infrastructure. Yet many automakers are removing AM from their vehicles so they can save a few bucks. That’s why I support the AM for Every Vehicle Act to require auto manufacturers to keep AM radio in vehicles, without charging customers extra for it.
