The North Vancouver City Fire Department Little Library is officially OPEN! Today, our department and local community members celebrated the grand opening of our community little library with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a speech by Deputy Chief Owens and Mayor Linda Buchanan.
Please join us for the grand opening of our new Little Library! Grab a book, leave a book, and help us celebrate! Our Fire Prevention team will be on hand to answer any fire prevention-related questions and offer some great take-home resources.

When your smoke alarm goes off, check for fire immediately. If there’s a fire, alert everyone, follow your escape plan, and never open a hot door. Once outside, call 911 and wait for the fire department. Prevent false alarms by regularly changing batteries.
