@mikka_kl Every video I've seen of my coworkers is them doing nothing but their best. I was also there. Nobody made a mistake or failed to perform their duties. They gave us an impossible situation no amount of experience or training could prepare us for.
@RHWOCritic @Angelab13905775 @sisihunni @trvisXX I really could care less about likes. What I do care about is making people aware we tried our hardest to save those kids. People said we were inexperienced and scared. Scared yes, inexperienced no.
@RHWOCritic @sisihunni @trvisXX Would you like some proof? I have plenty. All I want is for people to understand the situation from the medic point of view. My point of view and many others who were with me.
@g00nl00n@veronicacris @sisihunni @trvisXX Picking up a shift at a festival to help people stay safe while having some fun? I'm sorry, what are you trying to get at here?
@g00nl00n @sisihunni @trvisXX I dropped no one. Someone got dropped, but it was an officer's fault. Not an EMT's. That wasn't my patient either. It was my coworkers.
@GleamingCubes @veronicacris @sisihunni @trvisXX Some yes. Most of the ones who were angry were intoxicated or upset that I pushed them away from the kart or blocked their cell phone from recording a patient.
@WhoIsLlevi @sisihunni @trvisXX Yes, I have my uniform if I need to prove it. I only got back on twitter to address the false information being spread about us failing to do our job. We tried.
@YouvegotMel20 @sisihunni @trvisXX The small time frame in which he stopped was also the only time we could hear the chaos over the radio to locate downed patients. After that, we couldn't communicate with each other due to the noise of the crowd and music.
@animepfp69 @LadyBolt71 @sisihunni @trvisXX I don't know if he was ever informed. But at one point in time there were roughly 8-11 CPR patients at the same time and the karts couldn't reach them. Someone should have told him if they didn't. I was hoping he would do just as you stated
@LadyBolt71 @sisihunni @trvisXX Truthfully, I don't know. I can't play "what if" right now. The crowd was pushing us to get closer to the stage, that alone is preventable by stopping the show. As for a riot? Possibly... We discussed that afterwards in a debriefing
@LadyBolt71 @sisihunni @trvisXX He stopped, as many asked him to, then immediately went back to performing while we were being grabbed and blocked from the people needing immediate attention. That show should have been stopped. "Y'all know what we came here to do"
@madddeline_ @AshMallyCrabe @trvisXX They were. I was lucky to be one of the more experienced ones there. They did a hell of a job though for being so new. This is something many don't ever have to see. I can't blame them for being scared in what went down as a warzone.
@madddeline_ @AshMallyCrabe @trvisXX Everyone in a red shirt was at the very least an EMR. Most were EMTs (myself) or Paramedics; however, a mass casualty incident is something few can handle. It's hard. Especially without the gear we needed. I just wish we could have done more...
