The troubling part of what is happening in South Africa is not just the tension itself, but the human cost behind it. Many Africans moved there with hopes of building a stable life, and over the years they have established businesses, formed families, and contributed to local communities.
Now, some are being made to feel like they no longer belong, despite having spent years investing both financially and emotionally in the country. What happens to everything they have built?
If they are expected to leave, is there any compensation of the investments they’ve made, or is it simply a matter of walking away and starting over elsewhere? For many, South Africa has become home in every practical sense. That’s what makes the current situation so difficult to understand and accept.
Nothing says I’m a selfish adult who never used to share their toys as a child like these drivers who quickly accelerate their car when you indicate that you want to change to the lane they’re on. We share the roads with some interesting characters.
There is a proven scientific method to lose belly fat and I trust it completely because it worked for me.
I've had an annoying lower belly pooch for most of my adult life, even when I was at my thinnest. I fixed it!
You just need to put in the work and be disciplined.
Why enter South Africa on study visas, then once inside the country, open shops and start presenting yourself as investors? A travel visa is not a business visa. An asylum seeker is not a business visa.
europe spent 400 years using slave labour in colonies to build their wealth, rebranded this extraction model in the 20th century and somehow their citizens still believe their social conditions is a result of some superior intellect rather than inhuman violence
Being a foreigner and exploiting other foreign domestic workers then turning around and calling SAn workers lazy and too stressful for implementing labour laws is interesting(derogatory).
Take this number and get your counselling for free , you don’t need airtime , when anxiety kicks in or when you trying to heal from unspoken trauma they will assist.
Best way to start my day every morning. You might need it too 📌
I’ve experienced both. Foreign help for me was always about convenience. They take work more seriously because they have limited options.
I currently have only SAn staff and it’s ok. They do come with more stress unfortunately cause if it’s not clinic trips, sick days or death of a relative, it’s something😖
Disclaimer: I always comply with minimum wages.
I feel like @CorporateSouth can do something but they won’t because of government contracts.
If all SA companies could withhold EMP201 submission and payment for one month 🤞🏾
Guys...If we get very good patriotic lawyers 🇿🇦 and take this government to court for the substantial amounts of tax we are being subjected to...Surely we will win!!
How do you explain claiming R30k and only for R12k to be taken and looted by @sarstax
Make it make sense!!

Cannot believe Africans are on the internet debating over how their respective countries have the best looking people in the continent. I’m sorry but what a bunch of losers. What in the teenage mean girls is going on in our beloved continent 😭
calling south africa “spiritually israeli” is genuinely so disgusting. it’s not even funny considering our solidarity with palestine. you guys are sick in the head
Being South African on Twitter is a fulltime job. The moment you open your eyes, you're already on national duty, defending the country against allegations, stereotypes, & random attacks from people who've never been here. Kubi! 🇿🇦😂
How do you balance encouraging citizens to vote for the promise of service delivery while allowing thousands of undocumented people to settle in communities and share the same public resources?
