@WhiteRoseEd help! All week our year 4 staff can’t open anything! We click on links and get a black screen with a jigsaw piece in the middle and a sad face. We have paid account and can access other years. Making planning really tricky! Please help quick!!! #wrm
Well done to everyone for an amazing sports day! We picked the one sunny day of the week (yey!) ☀️
Huge congratulations to Red Team for a well deserved first place 🏆
Lots of excellent examples of positive sportsmanship, team work and resilience on show today #shinelikeadiamond
So so so so SO proud of all the wonderful pupils who took part in #Superstan this week! You gave it your all and made us all laugh and cry in the right places! 🦸♂️ #teamNW@youngtheatrecom
@NorthWheatley performane of Superstan last night was incredible! But a “mere h’ors derve” compared to the exceptional care and community commitment of the school. #outstanding#youngtheatrecompany#thankyou
Stunning examples of learning in #PSHE this term in our whole school focus on health and well-being. After discussions with our pupils, we have taken on their suggestion to develop floor books to share our learning as to not disrupt the follow of open discussions and debates.
Our end of enquiry in history. We have thought about the importance of showing courage as a Monarch. We wrote to King Charles to share our opinions. #monarchy#disciplinaryknowledge
Pupils have given up their golden time to litter pick around school. We are so proud of our amazing pupils and their passion for the environment. #amazing#proud
As part of our #scienceweek@NWTopaz joined us to listen to Pete talk about life as a doctor. He showed us some of the science behind being a doctor and how he uses this in his everyday work. Thank you so much - we have all learnt lots (as our many questions showed!)
Exploring #continuity and #change between #coronation images from the past 1000 years today using resources from @histassoc. We linked this to our #knowledge of the #monarchy and #empire when answering the question ‘why have there been 62 monarchs but only 39 coronations?’
Today we ‘met’ fellow pilgrims on our way to the Crusades and shared our characters, exploring possible friendships or rivals to include in our diary entries
Homophones day! Today we are completing lots of activities to embed our knowledge and application of homophones including a nail bitting game of the million pound drop!!!
Today Amethyst asked me if Jesus would have been white. This opened up a mature conversation where pupils #debated and shared their thoughts with #sensitivity and #reflectiveness. We drew on our #RE, #geography and #history learning to reach a conclusion we all felt was accurate
Thank you @diocswellnott for our pilgrimage day at #southwellminster today. What an amazing day. So proud of our pupils and all of the positive feedback from volunteers about their behaviour and knowledge. #proudteacher#Ambassadors
