@iwuesearabmoney@Ada_Ifenkili In clear terms, Ada started working with me in May of 2024 as a VA, I normally had 10 to 30 daily task to deliver, more came up during the day. Ada helped me prioritise, did a whole lot of them herself, I went from 3 clients to 6 clients because I could manage them better.
You can genuinely love and respect your mother and still hold contempt for other women. You can adore your father and still have a deeply misogynistic or misandrist view of men. The existence of a beloved parent does not automatically generalise into respect for an entire gender.
I think the more important factor is how respect was taught in the first place.
If a child is taught to respect their mother because she is a woman, or their father because he is a man, then I don’t think you’ve necessarily taught them respect. You may simply have taught them a gender-based hierarchy of exceptions.
The real prerequisite, in my opinion, is raising a child to see people as human beings before seeing them as male or female. A child who learns that other people possess dignity regardless of their gender is far less likely to grow up viewing an entire sex as inferior.
The wait is officially over!!!💃🏾

Working with people and adopting a rigid mindset will do you in. You need to be flexible where and when necessary. You need to be ready to learn systems at the drop of a hat kos 1minute you're using G-workspace for years and next you're all migrating to Proton or MS Suite.
Everytime I see a @clevabanking feature update pop up and then a mail, I get so excited!
The Pots feature is my best so far and now knowing they're in the US 😌💃💃💃 love it for them!
until you can empathise with a woman on the basis of her humanity, and not her proximity (imagine if that was your mum, sister, daughter etc), you still have work to do tbh
A lady shared that she had been out of work for 9 months and had gone through multiple interviews with no success. Then, a friend referred her to a company and to her surprise, they skipped the interview process entirely because of the strength of that referral. Her friend was known as an exceptional and trustworthy employee, and the company valued her recommendation so highly that they fast-tracked the process straight to an offer letter.
Even more amazing, the new job pays three times more than her previous one.
What stood out to me is this: being credible and diligent isn’t just an asset to you, it’s also an asset to your network.
This is a powerful reminder to be excellent and committed in whatever you do. Your integrity and diligence can open doors not only for you, but for others connected to you.
I'm hiring someone to take a chance on me.

One of the most underrated communication skills:
Asking, "Did you mean for that to sound hurtful?"
Questions force people to confront their behavior without you matching their aggression.
I am very very particular about how people experience me. Not performative, I put real intention into it. It is important to me that certain standards are met in my people experience journey and it's why I am big on maintaining relationships.
Relativity is the idea that our perceptions and judgments are not absolute but are shaped by our unique vantage points and frames of reference. It’s the understanding that our experiences are subjective.
We each inhabit a particular web of experiences. This context shapes how we see the world, what we notice and overlook, and what we value and dismiss. Two people can look at the same event and come away with vastly different interpretations based on their unique frames of reference.
Two people standing in the same room can experience the same absolute temperature differently. One can feel hot while the other feels cold, even though the temperature is the same. Also in political debates, our beliefs are shaped by our unique experiences and social contexts. A policy that seems like common sense to an urban progressive might feel like complete nonsense to a rural conservative, and vice versa.
In this way, understanding relativity is key to fostering empathy and finding common ground. However, relativity is not the same as relativism i.e., the idea that all perspectives are equally valid.
Recognising the relativity of our perceptions doesn’t mean we don’t have to make judgments about validity. Instead, it’s a call to examine our assumptions, seek out diverse perspectives, and expand our frames of reference. We all have blind spots (things we cannot see).
Understanding that our perceptions are relative allows us to open ourselves to other ways of seeing. If you’re wondering where to get started, try asking others what they see that you can’t. Apply your judgment to their responses and update your beliefs accordingly.

Just opened a @clevabanking business account for @ACEVirtual_SS and I'm excited!
Did they stress me? Yes.
Did they acknowledge the stress over dismissing? Absolutely!
Is it worth it? I'll know soon, since my individual account has been a smooth experience.
Don't make your spouse sound like the consolation prize in your own growth.
A lot of people say "my partner was not my spec" as if they are being emotionally mature, but half the time they are just preserving an old fantasy & asking their partner to feel honoured that they were chosen above it. There are kinder ways to say you grew up.
Your "spec" may have been formed when beauty meant whatever your friends, music videos & insecure boyhood talk had agreed to praise. If life later teaches you better, thank the person who opened your eyes. Do not make them stand beside the old fantasy forever. It can even be cruel. & they may struggle to tell you because they love you, or are still held down by insecurity.
You may think you're saying "I chose substance over my spec", but your partner may hear that there is still some private image they're being measured against. Love should not require someone to keep competing with a fantasy your younger self invented.
Do not turn an old shallow preference into a permanent footnote on someone who is sharing a life with you.
