The Region boys went to Pittsburgh and are bringing home another championship!

The team earned the 8th and final seed to the championship bracket and upset the 1, 4 & 3 seed. Great way to finish the final road trip of the summer.

The Playmakers stand at 25-8-1 on the summer.

The Playmakers finished a rain condensed weekend at 4-1 in the Pastime National Championship in Indianapolis.

After dropping the first game 8-0, the team went on to outscore their opponents 41-6 in their final 4 games.

The teams record now sits at 20-6-1

Mother Nature stays undefeated and washed out the rest of the weekends bracket play.

Playmakers sit at 15-5-1 with three more weekends to play this summer.

Indianapolis next weekend for the Pastime Wood Bat National Championship.

Playmakers sweep today’s DH by scores of 7-2 & 12-4. The wins earned them the top pool spot for bracket play tomorrow at 9 am at North Central College.

Playmakers are slotted for a twin bill at North Central College today at 11:15.

The Hernandez Twins will toe the rubber; Steven game one, James to follow in the nightcap.

The boys earned a 7-5 comeback victory in today’s 11:15 game.

Charlie Jones reached base in all 3 PA, including an RBI triple. He also had 5 Ks in the final 2 innings to earn the W in relief.

Danny Puplava, Chuckie Smith and Carter Kosiara each added a double at the plate.

Playmakers move to 12-5-1 on the summer with a 9-1 victory over ITB Red.

Michael Zajac and Danny Puplava each had 2 hits and 2 RBI. Zack Millsap also added 2 hits and scored 3 runs.

Chuckie Smith, Millsap and Puplava each had a triple while Zajac added a double.
