A silent believer is a powerless believer. You have to speak the blessing before you see the blessing. God has promised you freedom, favor, peace, but you have to declare it. Something happens when you speak. Forces of darkness are broken. Strongholds come down.
The enemy responds to our words. That’s where the power is. Jesus spoke to the situation. He said to the demon-possessed man, “Come out of him.” He spoke to the blind man. “Be healed.” He spoke to the storm. “Peace be still.” He spoke to Lazarus. “Come forth out of the grave.”
Don't miss this powerful message, "Pronounce Before You Possess." https://t.co/kNnMjb1SU6
When it says put God in remembrance of His promises, it’s not because God has forgotten what He said. It’s not for His sake; it’s for our sake. You’ll know that God being for you is more than the world being against you.
You’re drawing in what you’re thinking about. If you’re telling yourself, “This problem is too big; I’ll never make it through this sickness.” You’re defeating yourself. Turn it around. “Yes, this looks difficult, but God, I know You’re on the throne.”
God has given us incredible promises. But here’s where we can miss it. Silence leaves the territory unclaimed. Silence is not neutral; silence is surrender. You have to pronounce the promise before you possess it. When you speak what God says, that gives life to your faith.
Satan will try to get you to doubt Jesus. He will use your family and friends that are not paying attention to distract you and get you to give up.
Stay focused.
Stay faithful.
God is good.
