Our commitment is clear; opportunities must be accessible to all. As we dedicate 2026 and 2027 to advancing SMEs, we remain focused on building an economy where every entrepreneur has the support needed to thrive.
Who is a Graphics Designer ?
Here's what you need to know
A Graphic Designer is NOT
-A video editor ❌
-A 3D artist ❌
-A web developer❌
-A content writer ❌
-A social media manager❌
What a Graphic Designer DOES:
Branding, logo design & visual identity✅
Posters, flyers, brochures & packaging✅
Social media and web graphics✅
Typography, layout design & composition✅
Consistent, professional visual communication✅
Stop hiring one person to replace an entire creative team.✅
Respect The skill Respect the profession
A Graphic Designer should be hired to do graphic design.
Lately, I've noticed many job postings looking for a Graphic Designer who is also expected to be a Video Editor, Web Designer, Social Media Manager, Content Creator, Animator, and sometimes even a Marketing Specialist, all in one role.
There's nothing wrong with having multiple skills. In fact, learning different creative disciplines can be a great advantage. However, each profession requires its own expertise, experience, and time to master.
Graphic design is already a specialized field that involves visual communication, branding, layout design, typography, and creating effective marketing materials. It deserves the same level of respect as any other professional role.
When companies hire one person to fill several specialized positions, it can lead to unrealistic expectations, burnout, and lower-quality results.
A strong creative team isn't built by expecting one person to do everything. It's built by allowing professionals to focus on what they do best.

On #WorldBloodDonorDay, we recognise the invaluable contribution of voluntary blood donors, whose generosity helps save lives. Their selfless act ensures that those suffering from lifelong conditions or patients requiring emergency care receive the support they need when it matters most.
Blood remains an irreplaceable resource, despite the remarkable advancement in medicine and technology. Therefore, voluntary blood donation is essential in safeguarding public health, effective healthcare delivery and national emergency preparedness.
For a geographically dispersed island nation such as the Maldives, timely access to blood can make a critical difference during medical emergencies. This Administration remains committed to create awareness and promoting voluntary blood donation and strengthening a culture of solidarity and shared responsibility in protecting health and well-being of everyone.

Warm congratulations to His Excellency Prime Minister @narendramodi on becoming India’s longest-serving elected Prime Minister by consecutive days in office.
The Maldives looks forward to further strengthening cooperation with India, guided by mutual respect, sovereign equality, and shared interests.
On this #WorldFoodSafetyDay, we are reminded of the crucial role that safe food plays in eliminating foodborne diseases and minimising the heavy burden they place on healthcare systems and livelihoods around the world.
Food safety is a shared responsibility. From food businesses and health professionals to consumers, each of us has a role to play in ensuring that the food we produce, prepare, sell and consume is safe and free from contamination and harmful substances.
By working together and promoting food safety practices, we can protect public health, safeguard our communities from adverse consequences, and contribute to a healthier future for all of us.
On the joyous occasion of Azerbaijan’s Independence Day, I wish to extend my heartfelt felicitations to His Excellency President Ilham Heydar oglu Aliyev @presidentaz, His Excellency Prime Minister Ali Hidayat oglu Asadov, the Government, and the people of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan has come a long way since its independence, charting the course of its development in line with the aspirations of its people. I wish Azerbaijan bright days in the future.
Our bilateral engagements in recent years have explored the immense potential for expanding commerce and people-to-people ties between our countries. I am pleased with the progress made to expand our cooperation in these areas and beyond.
On World Football Day, we celebrate the beautiful game that lives in the hearts of Maldivians across every island.
Football is more than just a sport. It is a universal language that brings together people of all ages and backgrounds, inspiring healthier, happier lives and a shared sense of purpose. It teaches discipline, teamwork, and the importance of playing by the rules. It shapes not only athletes, but also responsible and principled citizens.
On this day, it is my sincere hope that through sports, such as football, we can continue to build peace, strengthen our communities, inspire our youth to dream bigger, and build a better, sustainable future for all.
On World Football Day, I extend warm greetings to everyone who shares a passion for this beautiful game that brings people together across the globe.
This administration remains steadfast in its commitment to advancing sports and healthy living in the Maldives. In addition to expanding and upgrading football infrastructure, including the development of FIFA-standard football grounds, we have introduced meaningful policy reforms such as amending the Sports Act to further decentralize sports development across the country.
We are also focused on creating opportunities for the Maldives to host international football tournaments, strengthening our sporting culture, and giving our athletes greater exposure on the global stage.
I am encouraged by the spirit of football that continue to unite our people and inspire future generations.
Wishing everyone a very happy World Football Day.
It gives me great pleasure to convey my sincere felicitations to His Majesty @KingAbdullahII, His Excellency Prime Minister @JafarHassan, the Government and the brotherly people of Jordan on their Independence Day. May this joyous occasion strengthen the unity among the people of Jordan for their continued harmony and success.
The Maldives and Jordan are bound by our common faith and shared values. I wish for our countries to continue benefiting from our cordial ties as we have always done, through goodwill, reciprocal support and open dialogue.
