@tom76349@deltaIV9250 It's 55B in the initial phase which will already produce a massive amounts of chips. And it's not just about cash, Google is behind in the AI race despite enormous resources. Amazon Leo is way behind despite generous funding.
@NiohBerg Trump is already begging for negotiations "What I would suggest to Iran: You've shot your missiles, that's enough. Get back to the table and make a deal," - President Trump to Iran. " very pathetic
@BoringBiz_@dan_tmt Yeah if you take their annualized loss of 10B (which already accounts for operational cost for the data center) from Q1 for https://t.co/MP6kfr7p5Q then that's still 16B net income annualized, and they only sell part of the compute capacity.
@megagoose11@StarCobShipSon I think for Starship the gap will be bigger though until there is a fully reusable competitor which could take until late 2030s.
@Cosmic_Andrew1 You are comparing the entire AI compute market with one company lol. And I would not underestimate NIMBY and politicial blockades. Nuclear growth initially also looked very promising but NIMBY killed it.
