N Y Time to Change aims to get more people talking openly and honestly about their mental health and for those who listen to be supportive and non-judgemental.
If you or someone you know is considering suicide, please talk to someone about how you are feeling and get professional help. Being mentally unwell is not a weakness and is nothing to be ashamed of.

Don't become isolated by poor mental health. During July the Samaritans Talk to Us Campaign reminds us that there is someone to talk to and who will listen without judgement or pressure 24/7

Our mental health experiences are unique to us but we can all relate to finding life difficult and challenging. The main thing is to listen and avoid playing down what is going on for those who experess how they are feeling. #listen#BeKind
Much would not be possible without the help of volunteers. Those who talk about their mental health experiences with others help to end mental health stigma in their community and demonstrate that mental illness can happen to any one of us.

The need for mental health support has never been greater. Since lockdown, Scarborough Survivors has supported many more people than its regular members. More staff are needed to ensure demand continues to be met as the charity prepares to resume face-to-face services.
This International Day of Action for Women’s Health, we’re calling on women of all ages & backgrounds to share their views and help shape the future #WomensHealth strategy.

The Great British Spring Clean runs from 28 May - 13 June. Litter picking is a great way to get fresh air, exercise, socialise outdoors, be connected to your local community and help nature. All good things for our mental health.

Trees can inspire us. They are resilient, surviving changing seasons and weather; provide food and shelter to many, and they can even communicate with each other. When did you last hug and talk to a tree?

The magic of nature continues long after #MHAW21. Whilst dealing with some sad news, I went for a walk. This beautiful thrush landed on the hedge and watched me as I passed by. It was so uplifting and helped me in ways that are difficult to put into words!

Depression is not a choice or a weakness.
It can happen to any one of us and we should all talk, listen, learn and support each other.

A4: Family members and caregivers can play a pivotal role in talking openly about mental health. More open conversations in safe environments can help people feel comfortable discussing mental health. Start the conversation in your family! #SOSChat
People may say something is 'a bit depressing' without it being of any great significance, but this doesn't mean we should downplay depression as something that can be shrugged off. Depression can be very debilitating and isolating, requiring nonjudgemental support.
