Rich donors try to build our budgets behind closed doors, but these decisions should be in the people's hands.
๐งฎ Check out our new interactive Build-A-Budget tool, and submit your version of the budget to help push the governor to FINALLY tax the rich.

A moment of gratitude as Tourette Syndrome Awareness Month ends.
@NYCCouncil recently passed the Public Advocate's bill to formally recognize this month in New York City.
Awareness is the first step in reducing stigma and discrimination, and replacing exclusion with empathy.

Ten years ago, 49 beautiful lives were stolen.
In the decade since the tragic attack at Pulse Nightclub, there is another tragedy: Anti-LGBTQ+ hate and hateful policies are everywhere, and the plague of gun violence remains.
We must finally act to honor those killed at Pulse.
We are a sanctuary city, a city of immigrants.
That's the city World Cup visitors will find, and that's the city united behind "Knicks in Five."
We asked in December: Which side are you on, and how will you help?
