Beep boop. Annemarie Gray and her Open NY drones will follow the orders of REBNY and Thypin Steel. We must bulldoze all community assets. We must build everywhere. We must make sure our followers think anyone who opposes is a NIMBY.
"Marte was the only Manhattan lawmaker to vote against City of Yes, made a name fighting plans to build housing on the site of the Elizabeth St Garden, voted against making outdoor dining permanent, and got the Council to intervene and kill sidewalk seating at a [local] bar" 👇👇

.@NYCMayor wants $402M of public money to upgrade 5th Ave shopping district... to appease who?
How about putting working class & elderly New Yorkers who have served NYC first!
How about directing $402M to @NYCParks <restore 800 union Parks jobs> or the @NycRetirees <traditional Medicare healthcare>?

.@GiniaNYT, this part of your piece is 100% factually incorrect. Neighbors in Windsor Terrace originally asked for buildings 7 stories or less & @ShahanaFromBK completely ignored this and approved zoning for 11 stories. Please correct! https://t.co/YATIhdenPG
The Haven Green dev team & supporters are deeply disappointed in recent news stories regarding a potential pause in the twelve-year-long effort to build deeply affordable housing for vulnerable & homeless seniors alongside 16,000 square feet of publicly accessible green space….
@CelestinAustin Saving a loved garden and building housing at this lot which has been empty since before you moved here on your parents dime. Looks like the admin is listening to the community and not lobby groups like yours full of rich nyu kids. ✊🏽https://t.co/84McCtU7bS
Beep boop bulldoze the beautiful garden in the name of affordable housing. Gulliani paved the way. Thank you @C_Sommerfeldt for doing the bidding of big realestate. You’ve done well kid.
New: Frank Carone, Mayor Adams' longtime political confidant, has for at least a year helped a group of celebs, including Robert De Niro, try to block the Adams admin's plan to build housing in the Elizabeth St. Garden. https://t.co/fb90CyXAkJ
Chris Sommerfeldt proves he’s just another mouthpiece for big realestate. Doesn’t mention corrupt Pennrose properties or the THOUSANDS of people who want to save Elizabeth street garden. He barely even brings up alternative lots for housing.
I’ve lived in sec 8 housing next to Elizabeth street garden for over 30 years. Seniors in my building rely on the garden. I can’t stand jerks like Aaron Carr who perpetuate developers lies. He blocks anyone who responds to him with the truth because he’s a coward.
Why has New York housing gotten so expensive- real estate speculation bid up the cost of land to unaffordable levels-when building on City owned land -that must be for affordable housing @NYCCouncil
Everyone has a part to play in solving the housing crisis in New York City — even churches, synagogues and mosques!
By working with faith-based organizations and fixing outdated zoning laws, we'll be able to house even more New Yorkers:

Community boards are overwhelmingly rejecting it, & civics are against it: it's clear New Yorkers don't want the 'City of Yes.'
The city needs to listen to its residents and understand that this idea isn't popular with anyone except developers.
Say NO to the 'City of Yes.'
