We’d like to thank the @NYPDnews , @BrooklynDA , @phylisajoy from the Mayor’s Task Force to Combat Antisemitism, and all of the witnesses for testifying at the first EVER hearing of NYC’s Bipartisan TASK FORCE TO COMBAT ANTISEMITISM exploring reporting on antisemitic hate crimes and bias incidents.

While we asked tough questions, we are grateful to the representatives who made the effort to show up.

Hate crimes against Jewish New Yorkers are rising. And too many of the people committing them are kids. That's not just a law enforcement problem. That's a failure of education.
