The 35-year-old Aboriginal woman Alivia Muriel Briggs has pleaded guilty to murdering 22-year-old James Callahan, who was attacked after telling a group not to litter outside a kebab shop in Hamilton, Australia.

According to prosecutors, Callahan and a friend were chased by two cars after the confrontation and ambushed.

Police reveal that Briggs stabbed him in the chest and her brother Ryan Sampson stabbed him multiple times in the back and neck, while others shouted, "Smash him" and "Kill him." The attack was captured on CCTV and mobile phone footage.

Callahan, described as a keen fisherman and passionate environmentalist, later died in hospital. More than 100 people attended his memorial, where his mother said she could not understand why he had been targeted.
