I think one of the most depressing aspects of the 2024 election was that Trump repeatedly used this type of language, including most famously in the debate, and it did not seem to phase anyone.

Voters didn't care. The media certainly didn't care. People made Tiktok mashups and treated it as if it was funny.

Really hard not to lose faith in the humanity of our country.

Fair point. Also keep in mind that TNT is the sub licensee for the early rounds. I wouldn't be surprised if they amend the sublicensing agreement to move some games to CBS and allow CBS to use their announcers and theme song during their telecasts
