gm ct,
i just finished high school, damn.
feels weird typing that out but yeah, that chapter’s closed now. three days ago i was still worrying about exams and here i am now, sitting with this weird mix of relief and “okay, now what.”
nobody prepares you for the part after school ends. no more timetable telling you where to be. just an open road and the assumption that you’ll figure it out.
so i’ve been sitting with that question for a bit and trying to figure it out how, exactly. and somewhere along the line i found @TheVictorOkafor
a huge shoutout to @TheVictorOkafor for a video that he made it was about setting goals for oneself, ngl it’s been sitting in my head for days. something about the way he broke things down just made the whole “how do i actually start” question feel less scary. motivation like that doesn’t come around often so i’m not letting it go to waste.
so rn, here’s where my head’s at. 6 months from now, this is where i want to be. averaging 500 views per post, consistently, not just on a lucky day, 1k followers on X, and at least 5 active jobs weekly, actual work, actual income. that’s the target, not some vague “grow big” energy, just numbers i can actually track and hold myself accountable to.
so how am i actually getting there, i’ll just showing up. creating content around what i actually know, documenting the journey properly, on X and on @farcaster_xyz, including the W’s and the L’s. hunting for jobs on tg groups, cold DMs and hot DMs, not waiting for opportunities to find me.
6 months isn’t really a long time tbh, but it’s enough time to prove something to myself. gonna look back at this post either way, let’s see where this goes.
NOTE: same username across all socials “NyllKeyy”
if you nor get, you go like de force am.
why i'm i saying this? i remember when idh iPhone, i use to add quotes like this “ ”,
and i write apostrophes like this ‘ ’.
buh wen i have it now, i just flow w/ my normal android writing.
this goes to show that sometimes, when you don't have something, you naturally try to fake it
but once you finally have it, you realize you were already comfy with what you had.
