In as much as I disagree with taking such risk, I find myself empathizing/understanding with the ppl who do these things. They have worked so hard over many years to build their homes etc and the prospect of losing it, a life’s work and sacrifices. Not easy at all

And let’s say the procedure is a gynecological one like a myomectomy or hysterectomy and they confirm pregnancy intra-op, which they are legally obligated to inform you of after . You have the right (which persons have in the past) to sue for breach of standard of care.
