Parents and Students. I recently sent an email to all students with a link to a google form for kids to fill out for class requests for next year. Please log into your student account to fill out the form so that we can build our, and your schedule for next year.

I wanted to give a shout out to all of our staff for how hard they are working through this difficult situation. We are making, packaging, and delivering thousands of meals a day multiple days a week. I am so proud to be a part of this school.

A heads up from the Elementary:
Parent Teacher Conferences have been moved again to March 12th and March 19th from 4-7 PM. There will be an early release on the 12th, and grade cards will be passed out at Conferences that night.

Additional program information and applications are available. Submit applications online to the Governor’s Office of Appalachia on or before Feb. 28.

Chaperones will be present 24 hours a day, and the academy will cover all major expenses, including meals, lodging and transportation. High school teachers are eligible to take part and can receive stipends for attending. See the website for qualifications.

The institute will take place July 5-17 for high school students and teachers and July 11-17 for middle school students. Both sessions take place at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
