Great work by our 105 Precinct Conditions Team! While on patrol, they interrupted a catalytic converter theft in progress, pursued the suspects, made an arrest and recovered tools and evidence. Excellent police work helping keep our community safe! ππ

Our Quality of Life team conducted a Joint Tow Operation with NYPD Traffic personnel and our Rotation Tow. As a result, 1 truck was heavy towed, 7 vehicles were towed, 3 barnacles were placed on commercial vehicles, and 16 Parking summonses were issued.

Our Quality of Life teams conducted an operation where 4 motorcycles and 5 mopeds were confiscated for multiple violations including abandoned, unregistered, and operating out of class. Multiple summonses were issued and one arrest was made for suspended license.
After our Patrol Officers responded to a dispute involving a firearm, they canvassed and were engaged in a foot pursuit which led to the apprehension of the perpetrator and firearm. Great tactics from everyone involved in removing another illegal ghost firearm from the streets!
Our Q-Team did it again! Another successful joint tow operation with NYPD Traffic & our ROTOW vendor resulted in 2 heavy duty tows, 2 violation tows, 4 rotation tows, 2 barnacle boots placed on commercial vehicles and 22 parking summonses issued. Another job well done! π
Our Quality of Life team conducted a 2-Wheel Operation where 6 motorcycles and 4 mopeds were confiscated for multiple violations including Abandoned and Unregistered Vehicle. In addition, several summonses were issued and an arrest was made for Reckless Driving.

Our Auxiliary Officers were in Queens Village to talk to pedestrians about street safety. There are several things that can help you protect yourself such as making eye contact with the driver of large vehicles and looking both ways before crossing for vehicles and bicycles.
